WooBoi Hot Chicken is hosting a soft opening Friday at its new location at 531 Montgomery St. in Alexandria.
Hours on soft opening day today are 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., or until supplies run out. For now, the restaurant is requesting customers pay in cash only.
The restaurant (open for take-out or delivery only, for now) offers antibiotic-free, free range chicken cooked in peanut oil. Sides include macaroni salad, fries, fried okra and more.
Grand opening week is Nov. 2 - 7 for the restaurant.
Wooboi Hot Chicken also has a location in Herndon.
