Tatte Bakery & Cafe is opening an outpost in Alexandria.
The venue will be moving into a former SunTrust bank branch at 515 King St., the Washington Business Journal first reported.
Tatte Bakery & Cafe has several locations in the District as well as a bakery in Clarendon (Arlington) and in Bethesda, Maryland. There are also several Tatte bakeries in the Boston area, where the company started.
"Even as we grow, our commitment to each other is to own the smallest details, maintain the highest standards, and hold fast to our shared mission: To Inspire, Care for, and Nurture life. Every Day," according to the company's website.
Tatte offers an extensive list of gluten-friendly foods in addition to regular bakery items, salads, sandwiches, coffee and more. Tatte also caters.
There is no opening date estimate at this time.
