The much-anticipated Silver Diner coming to the corner of Alexandria's King and N. Beauregard streets plans to open next summer, according to Matilde Ott, Vice President of Marketing for Silver Diner. (Previously, Weingarten Realty had announced the eatery was slated for a fall 2020 opening.)
The 6,600-square foot diner will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as late-night fare. It will offer a varied menu with healthy options, as well as a full bar. The regional chain launched 30 years ago in Rockville, Maryland.
The popular upscale diner offers tabletop jukeboxes, all-day breakfast and cozy booths.

Silver Diner caters to families by offering deals including its Kids Club, which features free meals for kids every five visits, a free birthday entree, a free collectible every visit and more.
The diner is part of a 5-acre community; apartment homes are currently leasing and a Dec. 1 move-in date is expected for residents.
