Stomping Ground
Another change is coming to the venue that was once Stomping Ground in Del Ray.
The former Stomping Ground changed to Rubia's, a taco restaurant, in May 2023.
But now Rubia's will sunset and a new restaurant will take it's place — La'Baik Del Ray, a Mediterranean restaurant, according to a permit application filed with the city.
The permit requests a change of ownership for the restaurant at 2309 Mt. Vernon Ave. Lorton-based Hay Enterprises plans no renovations or major changes to the venue. It will offer carry-out and sit-down dining.
Information about an opening date and menu details are not yet available.
