National Center for Missing & Exploited Children
After a successful inaugural event last year, Rock the Blocks returns Nov. 7, 2019.
Enjoy food and drinks from Alexandria classics like The Majestic or the recently-opened Whiskey & Oyster, all for the benefit of the Alexandria-based National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Multiple local restaurants and a Charles Schwab pop-up restaurant for VIPs are already signed up to participate, with more expected to join the list in the coming weeks.
Attendees purchase tickets online (see link below) and make a reservation at their starting restaurant. There, they'll receive a wristband and restaurant map. Visit as many restaurants as you'd like and sample from a choice of small plates and specialty cocktails.
Attendees may reserve general admission tickets for $125 for the main event, which runs from 6 p.m.to 9 p.m., or VIP tickets for $300 that include an opening reception and after party with special guests like Chef Spike Mendelsohn and Chef Victor Albisu.
Last year’s event sold out quickly.
