If you thought you missed out on Summer Restaurant Week specials ($49 take-out meals for two) or you didn't get to try as many restaurants as you wanted to, we have good news!
"More than 50 restaurants in Alexandria, Virginia have elected to continue offering a $49 takeout dinner for two as part of the extended Alexandria Restaurant Week To-Go, running for an additional eight days through Labor Day, Sept. 7.
The promotion has been extended past the original Aug. 21-30 time frame to give diners in the region another week to take advantage of the to-go offers and sample more menus while supporting the local restaurant community," according to Visit Alexandria.
Alexandria Restaurant Week was launched in 2009 by Visit Alexandria and now runs every summer and winter. The events are an economic driver for Alexandria restaurants.
