Just in time for the late August heat, Pendleton Carryout Co. has added the "SnoBall" to its menu.
The crushed, flavored ice comes in multiple flavors: watermelon cucumber, lemon-line jalapeno, candyland (pictured with lemon lime, orange, grape and cherry, nerds, sour worms, chopped jolly ranchers and gummy bears), cherry cola, cold brew, and poppy's (cherry and lemon-lime with poprocks candy).
In addition to smaller sizes, Pendleton Carryout is offering a 5-lb. SnoBall Bucket Challenge: If anyone can finish a 5-lb. bucket of SnoBall, they will receive a free pizza and a congratulatory post on Instagram.
According to an email from Pendleton Carryout: "Pendleton Carry Out Co. is not responsible any brain freezes while consuming. SnoBalls are not available for delivery. Because, obvi."
Pendleton Carryout, a food incubator, opened at 807 Pendleton St. It's aim is to accelerate menu concepts from both popular restaurants and emerging chefs. The current menu includes pizza, dumplings, desserts and more.
In addition, at the request of customers, the food incubator has introduced the Beyond Burger, a meatless "hamburger," to its menu.
Prepared similar to the popular Smash Burger, the Beyond Burger is seasoned with a house spice blend, seared on the flattop, then topped with onions, smash sauce, pickles and American cheese, and served on a sesame seed bun from Lyon Bakery. A vegan option is available without cheese and smash sauce. Both are available for pick-up or delivery.
The incubator has also added a few new fish items to the menu.
