Hinata Sushi Bar & Grill will be opening in Old Town North at the new Edens development at First and Pitt streets.
There is no opening date yet for the sushi restaurant.
Hinata at 530 First will have soft light, open ceiling, custom mural paintings that integrate the industrial overtones creating an inviting and modern look.
The 2,200 square-foot restaurant will be the first location for Chef Hyun Su Kim. Chef Kim has spent the last 14 years working at various sushi restaurants in the Northern Virginia area. He has experience overseeing all aspects of the restaurants and operations with a focus on quality and exceptional service.
Hinata Sushi Bar & Grill joins a variety of other retailers at the new development at 530 First Street: West Elm, Row House Fitness, Oak Steakhouse, a Virginia ABC Store, Sisters Thai and multiple other businesses. Above the retail development is a luxury apartment complex called The Gables, which is now leasing apartments.
