Yelp put together a list of the best brunch spots across the United States, and a local favorite made the cut.
Matt and Tony’s All Day Kitchen + Bar in Del Ray came in at No. 59 on the top 100 list.
"We identified businesses in the Breakfast & Brunch category with a large concentration of reviews mentioning “brunch” and “Mother’s Day,” then ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews mentioning those keywords in the past 3 years," according to Yelp.
Matt and Tony's has a rating of 4.5 from 761 reviews, as of this week.
The restaurant opened in Del Ray in March of 2022 and is named for the current owner (Matt Sloan) and his grandfather, a bread and pastry chef named Anton “Tony” Schabas. Sloan is a fan of brunch and serves brunch items all day at his restaurant.
