Madame Coco: Emporium & Everything Chocolate is opening this weekend in the 100 block of South St. Asaph St. in Old Town.
Meshelle Armstrong of the Eat Good Food Group (of famed Restaurant Eve, Society Fair, Hummingbird) is behind the project.
Madame Coco's will be "where fantasy meets luxury in a whimsical chocolate lounge and retail store."
"Step into a world of enchantment, where the perfect hostess gift and everything chocolate awaits — all while enjoying a personal portion of gourmet ice cream," according to Armstrong.
In addition to "all things chocolate," the emporium will have a variety of gifts. Armstrong said these will include moon crystal-infused candles, boxes of chocolate and "fine French things."
"Madam Coco’s creates a unique shopping experience combined with an adult ice cream social where little parties from bridal to birthday can also be reserved complete with a tarot card reader. Our Enchanted Emporium invites you to step into a little world of treasure finds, curiosities and fantasy," Armstrong said earlier this year.
