When Juann Wong and Nakornsri Sintaisong opened Zen Press in February (read more here), they had no idea how warmly the Mount Vernon/Richmond Highway community would welcome them. The juice bar and café, with its focus on wellness and health, has gained a loyal clientele thanks to its unique juice blends and healthy, fresh food.
Zen Press will be moving to 806 King St., according to an application filed with the City. The space was formerly occupied by a Galt & Bro. jewelry store. The building where Zen Press is currently located is slated to be acquired as part of the Richmond Highway widening and Bus Rapid Transit system right-of-way process.
Zen Press is currently closed for a few weeks but will resume business on Nov. 28, according to the business’ Instagram account. It is unknown when the juice bar & café will relocate to King Street.
