Fresh World, an international and American grocery store, will open just south of the Groveton area soon.
A "coming soon" banner is up outside the store at 7451 Mount Vernon Square Center. This will be Fresh World's fifth location in Virginia. Other locations are already open in Springfield, Herndon, Manassas and Woodbridge.
Fresh World is an American supermarket with a wide variety of international additions, According to the chain, this includes "Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Indian, Korean, and more. Visit our store to explore tens of thousand of products and find foods from your home country and others in Fresh World's international grocery section."
The space was formerly occupied by a Safeway supermarket.
