For Five Coffee Roasters is now open near the King Street Metro Station.
The company's first Alexandria location is at 1800 Diagonal Rd., across from the south side of the King Street Metro Station.
A grand opening event is planned for 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, with complimentary rose, beer and hors d’oeuvres.
For Five Coffee Roasters started in New York City by two childhood friends who began by selling their roasted coffee to restaurants and other businesses.
Their first café was opened in New York City’s Times Square in 2016.
Today, the company has multiple locations in New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles.
In addition to the Alexandria location, the company is expected to open locations in Boston, Arlington and at several locations in Washington, D.C. this year.
According to their website, For Five Coffee Roasters prides itself on providing high quality coffee, food and pastries and making each location unique while still reflecting the company’s New York roots.
The hours of the Alexandria location are 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. on weekends.
