A little piece of the Bronx opened recently in Alexandria. Eddie’s Little Shop and Deli is drawing in customers for custom sandwiches, Italian goods and more.
The new venue, by chef Ed McIntosh, takes the place of Deli, News & More on Alexandria's King Street, which closed last year after several decades.
Eddie’s Little Shop and Deli is at 1406 King Street, just a few blocks east of the King Street Metro.
McIntosh has worked at several restaurants, including most recently Chop Shop Taco in Alexandria.
According to Eater DC, Eddie's Little Shop and Deli is designed to reflect the "beloved bodegas Ed McIntosh used to frequent as a kid in the Bronx." \
