Tacos aren't just for Tuesdays — and not just for lunch or dinner, either.
Starting Friday, Chop Shop Tacos is adding breakfast tacos that go way beyond the standard egg and cheese. Chef Ed MacIntosh has added options such as brisket, Logan's Sausage chorizo and beef, house pork, chile beans, tots and Beyond Meat, plus crema, jack cheese chipotle salsa and scallions.
Avocado toast is also on the menu, but it also includes salsa, pumpkin seeds, radish and more (a fried egg is optional).
Friday, Feb. 21, the first 25 people in line at 8 a.m. at Chop Shop Taco will receive a free taco when they buy one. Chop Shop Taco is at 1008 Madison St. in the Old Town North neighborhood.
Breakfast will be available Monday through Friday from 8 to 11 a.m.
