Del Ray restaurant Catch on the Ave. has closed.
The owners, Common Plate Hospitality, announced the closure online Sunday afternoon.
Their message said: “It is with regret that we announce the permanent closing of Catch on the Ave. Thank you for all your support. We look forward to seeing you at our other locations @eatmasonsocial @augiesbeergarden & @urbano116 - Common Plate Hospitality.”
Common Plate Hospitality’s other restaurants, Mason Social, Augie’s Beer Garden and Urbano 116, remain open.
Catch on the Ave. opened in December 2018 at 2419 Mount Vernon Ave. It took the place of Snackbar, which closed in August 2018.
Catch on the Ave. featured seafood with a Southeast Asian influence.
