Capo Italian Deli opened its second Virginia location in the Old Town space formerly home to Old Town Deli earlier this month.
The regional chain now has five locations in Maryland, Virginia and D.C. (The other Virginia location is in Tysons.) The first Capo opened in 2016 by Andy Seligman with the guidance of legendary founders of V&S Deli in Boca Raton, Florida.
In addition to large hot and cold subs, the deli offers stuffed riccota, beef lasagna and baked ziti. For dessert, try the tiramisu, cheesecake or cannoli. The deli is located at 109 N. Washington St.
The change of ownership from Old Town Deli was first reported in February. Old Town Deli opened in 1990 and was home to the "stinky salad," named for its unique seasonings.
