In honor of George Washington’s birthday, more than 40 Alexandria restaurants created unique, cherry-centric dishes in celebration of one of the most cherished legends surrounding George Washington.
This annual event is part of the George Washington Birthday Celebration. The nation's largest Washington Birthday parade was this past Monday in Old Town Alexandria, and a few events are yet to come. (See the full schedule here.)
