Ahead of the spring biking season, take your bike out for a ride on Friday, Feb. 12.
Go Alex is inviting bikers to join in the the inaugural Winter Bike to Work Day event in Alexandria. The event celebrates those who bike to commute to work, school, run errands, etc. during the cold months.
This year participants are encouraged to stop at Swing's Coffee Shop in Del Ray and grab a hot beverage for 50 percent off when you show them you registered for this event. Plus, pick up some swag from the GO Alex team.
The event is 7 – 9 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 12 at Swing's Coffee located at 501 E. Monroe Ave. in Alexandria.
