VIRTUAL: Poem in Your Pocket Day Event

City of Alexandria Poet Laureate KaNikki Jakarta invites residents to read poetry in celebration of the National Poem in Your Pocket day.
The 2020 “DASHing Words in Motion” Poets have also been invited to read their winning poetry that will be displayed on the DASH buses and Trolleys throughout the month of April. This virtual event is hosted by KaNikki Jakarta, the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Association and the Office of the Arts.
If you wish to read or participate as an audience member, please send in your RSVP to: poet@alexandriava.gov. In the email, state if you wish to read, or just be an observer as an audience member. A confirmation and ZOOM invitation will be sent to you by KaNikki Jakarta, Poet Laureate, City of Alexandria.
