Former police detective David Vasquez used DNA evidence in his criminal investigations. He now draws on this knowledge in genealogical research and has discovered his distant Virginian ancestors. Vasquez will discuss how to use DNA tools such as GEDMatch in his July 20 presentation at the Mount Vernon Genealogical Society’s monthly meeting.
