The Reasons for the Seasons Community Planetarium Show

While the meteorologists have already declared it to be Spring, the Vernal Equinox is right around the corner. During this kid-friendly show we will how astronomers determine the first day of each season by measuring charting and diagramming the rising, noon time, and setting positions of the sun as we fast forward through a year in 15 minutes. The show will start with a salute to highlights in manned space exploration during the month of March featuring the flight of Gemini 3 and will conclude with a walk across the March sky.
