Old Town-based theater & film company Through the 4th Wall (creators of the Poe production, A Dream within a Dream: Madness) return to the Torpedo Factory Arts Center to bring their latest play to life. This workshop performance is a staged reading of select scenes from their original musical 19. It runs 1 hour with a Q&A after the show.

The musical 19 (www.19themusical.com) celebrates the dynamic and little-known story of Alice Paul, suffragists and the fight to get women the right to vote— the 19th Amendment. The inspirational story of these fearless women is brought to life through jazz, spoken word, traditional musical standards and a touch of gospel.
