Join the Alexandria-Caen Sister City Committee and Smithsonian Associates drawing instructor Paul Glenshaw at the Alexandria History Museum at The Lyceum (201 S. Washington Street) for a fun evening of sipping and sketching! Perfect for beginners through advanced artists. We’ll tackle two engaging drawing exercises: one will focus on sketching a picture with light and dark shapes, and the other will be an exercise in still life drawing. Paul will demonstrate each exercise and bring in some of his own drawings for you to see. We’ll draw with light and dark charcoal while we enjoy great wine! (Cost includes materials and wine)
