Join mascot Eugene for the 14th annual Run! Geek! Run! 5K which will raise money for the non-profit SCAN of Northern Virginia, the only organization solely dedicated to preventing child abuse in the region. The USATF certified course runs along Main Line Boulevard and Potomac Avenue and is kid- and stroller-friendly. Registration is $35 through Sept. 15 and then $40 until race day. The race is hosted by local web-development and marketing company Ironistic.
