"Origin" Screening at Alamo Drafthouse

In celebration of Black History Month, join the National Landing BID at Alamo Drafthouse in Crystal City, for a free community screening of “Origin,” the critically acclaimed film by Ava Duvernay. An adaptation of the New York Times Bestseller “Caste: The Origin of Our Discontents” by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and native Washingtonian Isabel Wilkerson. The film explores Wilkerson’s journey of investigation, discovery, personal tragedy and loss during her writing process.
