Lunar New Year Meets Old Town!

Lunar New Year is an important, festive and deeply traditional holiday that is celebrated across the U.S. and around the world. This celebration is a perfect opportunity to acknowledge the diversity and cultural significance Asian Americans bring to Alexandria and provides an opportunity for all community members to participate in the significance of the Lunar New Year.

The event will be held inside the Atrium Building located in Old Town Alexandria, featuring free activities such as:

* Live performances (Lion dance, dragon dance, martial art, and cultural performances)

* Hands-on craft activities

* Face painting - Chinese zodiac animals

* Photography station with Vietnamese traditional clothes

* Raffles & giveaway

* Lunar New Year Market will showcase local small businesses

* Community exhibit

The event will be free for the public and brought to you by ALX Community, Get Fit Studio, PSK Creative and CA Staffing Solutions.

Pre-registration via EventBrite is required and registration will close when capacity is reached.
