New Dominion Chorale Presents Bach's Christmas Oratorio

New Dominion Chorale will present J.S. Bach’s CHRISTMAS ORATORIO (Cantatas I, II, and III), with soloists and orchestra, on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at the Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center. Of particular interest is Mr. Beveridge’s English translation of the Bach Christmas story and the special feature of having the audience join in the singing of the many Chorales, which the composer used to enable congregation/audience participation in his unique presentation of the story of Jesus’ birth. The four soloists are all professionals from the Washington, D.C. area: soprano Tess Ottinger, alto Linda Hayes Bennett, tenor Jacob Perry, and bass Bob McDonald. Come sing with us!
