National Geographic Hosts Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant

Hooray for Books! is partnering with National Geographic Kids to bring real-life explorer Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant to the bookstore as part of a one-day global event celebrating women in exploration and STEM topics, while promoting the release of the third book in the Explorer Academy series, The Double Helix. The mystery deepens and the action intensifies for 12-year-old Cruz Coronado and friends as they continue their studies at sea and travel to exotic locations around the world.

The book is recommended for readers ages 8 and up, but children of all ages are invited to explore.
