Teaching Artist: Miriah Auth

This open level modern dance class introduces several modern styles including but not limited to Graham, Horton and Release Technique. The class begins with moving from a place of meditative presence and a connectedness to the ground, the space and the other dancers in it. It progresses through the technical aspects of modern dance while maintaining proper alignment and encouraging dancers to connect with the movement from a personal and meaningful place.
