Meet The Legends 2019

Living Legends of Alexandria is an ongoing project conceived to create an enduring artistic record of the people whose vision and dedication make a positive, tangible difference to the quality of life in Alexandria.

Each of the Living Legends selected in 2018 will be introduced and honored at this "Meet the Legends" reception. A photograph and profile of each Legend will be published in the Meet the Legends catalog that is given to each attendee and which is donated to the Alexandria Library, collected by the Library of Virginia in Richmond and available at the U.S. Library of Congress.

Tickets may be purchased for $45 each until March 8, 2019; after that, tickets may be purchased online and at the event for $60 each.

The event will be held at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial, located at 101 Callahan Drive, Alexandria, Virginia 22301. The Memorial is located between King and Duke Streets near the Telegraph Road exit off of the Capital Beltway (I-495). The King Street Metro Station is within walking distance (approximately ½ miles up a steep incline) of the Memorial. The Yellow and Blue lines come to this station providing easy access from Washington, DC; Northern Virginia and Suburban Maryland.

Parking is free on the grounds of the Memorial.
