Local Motion Project and Yellow Door Concert Series have partnered to create “Intersections,” a series of evenings with live jazz music and featured sections of contemporary dance. The relaxed social vibe will allow the audience to experience the improvisational interplay between music and dance. The first “Intersections” performance will take place on Friday, November 12 from 6:30-9:00pm at The Garden and Building Momentum (5380 Eisenhower Ave Suite C, Alexandria, VA 22304). Vaughn Ambrose, co-founder of Yellow Door Concert Series, will be premiering two pieces of music “Inner” and “In the Middle” written specifically for this collaboration with LMP Collective dancers.
