Help Afghanistan's Refugees: Hygiene Items Needed

Volunteer Alexandria is seeking donations of UNUSED and NEW travel-sized hygiene items for the kits. Here's a great opportunity to clean out all the hotel shampoos, lotions, the toothbrushes from your dentist, any other such toiletry items taking up space in your closet, to donate to people who fled their homeland with virtually nothing.

Donations can be dropped off at the Volunteer Alexandria office at 123 N. Alfred St. in Old Town Monday - Thursday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. through Sept. 9.

Monetary donations are also gratefully appreciated. Checks can be dropped off at the office, or go to volunteeralexandria.org to donate on-line.
