The Fund for Alexandria’s Child will host its 15^th Annual Fostering the Future Gala — "Up, Up and Away" on Friday, June 8 at the Sheraton Suites in Old Town Alexandria.

You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose, so please join us at this year's Gala, benefiting The Fund for Alexandria's Child. This annual fundraiser supports the work of The Fund in providing life enriching opportunities for children in foster care and those at risk of abuse and neglect.

Guests will come from here, there and everywhere to enjoy a memorable evening with exciting live/silent auction items, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, music and dancing. It will be a night to remember as we recognize our foster parents of the year and come together to imagine an oh so bright future for our youth. Oh, the places they’ll go with your support!

Last year’s gala, “A Superhero Soiree,” was a record-breaking event, raising more than $69,000! The goal is to exceed last year's total.
