Spring is in the air and in Scope Gallery. As garden flowers flourish, the artists here have created vessels as varied as the flower they might hold. A collared cylinder to support the fragile stems of daffodils. A shallower bowl in which to float a peony blossom. A perforated orb to hold the individual branches of a quince or a rose. It’s the perfect month to give up that clear canning jar or the free vase from the delivered flowers…and bring home a vase that lets your cut flowers be a stunning exclamation point in your room! Featuring the Kiln Club.
The “Flourishing Forms” show at Scope Gallery runs May 5-May 30, 2021. Hours are Wednesday - Sunday 11:00 am till 5:30 pm.
