First Night Alexandria

First Night Alexandria, the largest family-friendly New Year’s Eve party in the D.C. area, returns to Northern Virginia on December 31st, featuring alcohol-free entertainment from 2 p.m. to 12 p.m.

The event is described as a “celebration of the new year through the performing arts.” Each year, attendees are able to stroll through the historic streets of Old Town while viewing the spectacular art galleries, historic sites, churches, retail shops, and museums that have been transformed into performance venues for incredible local and regional artists.

For a small fee, adults and children have access to unlimited entertainment in over 30 indoor venues that highlight more than 100 performances throughout the evening.

Most importantly, everything is within easy walking distance!
