We are proud to announce the opening of Vantages | A Cuban Perspective, at The Art Loft of Old Town Alexandria. This group exhibition, curated by Natalie O'Connor, features select works from internationally renowned Cuban artists: Néstor Arenas, José Franco, Guillermo Portieles and Ciro Quintana.

Please join us for a cultural experience with unique contemporary art, great music and authentic Cuban cuisine!

VANTAGES is an exhibition of works that portray varying perspectives from impactful contemporary Cuban artists from the 80's. These artists will be exhibiting together for the first time, offering a glimpse of their techniques, which have and continue to influence many generations of artists. While these painters were raised and developed in Havana, Cuba, each one chose a different life path, following his departure from the island. The selection of works on view, will encompass an array of styles from an extremely pivotal era in Cuban contemporary art and will portray the dreams of their generation, while incapsulating historical moments in each painting.
