Mount Vernon Environment Expo: Saving the Earth One Person at a Time

Whitman Middle School 2500 Parkers Lane, Alexandria, Virginia
Mount Vernon District Supervisor, Dan Storck, will host his first Environmental Expo which will explore how everyone can help save our planet, with the theme, "Saving the Earth One Person at a Time".
The morning will feature an Exhibit Hall with a variety of County agencies, service providers and educators, informational and hands-on workshops and screenings of the film "Hometown Habitat".
There will also be workshops featured throughout the day including topics like "Let's Talk Trash", Tree Care 101", "The Right Tree in the Right Place" and many more.
Schedule:
Exhibit Hall open 8:00 - 11:15 a.m.
Welcome - 9:00 a.m.
Workshop Series #1 - 9:30 - 10:15 a.m.
Workshop Series #2 - 11:15 a.m. - noon
Screenings of Hometown Habitat continuous from 9:30 a.m. - noon
