Dr. Daryle Williams will discuss the Enslaved.org project at the Mount Vernon Genealogical Society meeting on Nov 15.
Dr. Daryle Williams will take you on a tour of the The Enslaved Project, an online discovery tool that helps reconstruct the lives of the enslaved during the Mount Vernon Genealogical Society's Nov. 15 meeting.
He’ll discuss what the platform offers and how to access its features. Time and interest permitting, Dr. Williams will also discuss how the platform is used to uncover black family history in Virginia.
Dr. Williams is the University of California/Riverside’s Dean of the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
