Big Dog Day Swim

The annual Alexandria dog swims which are held at pools after they close to the public at the end of summer are free for humans and dogs alike this year. The swims will take place on September 14th and 15th with two separate categories for dogs under 50 pounds and over 50 pounds. 

The Itty Bitty Doggie Dive is Friday, Sept. 14, from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at Memorial Pool at Charles Houston Recreation Center, 901 Wythe Street. The Big Dog Day Swim is Saturday, Sept. 15, from 10 a.m.-12:45 p.m. at Old Town Pool, 1609 Cameron Street.
