Centipede Dragon Story Celebration

Engage with a new outdoor story trail featuring local author Alice Y. Chen's picture book, "Centipede Dragon", and join the Alexandria Library for themed crafts and performances for families.

Event will include a special reading from the author and feature a Lion Dance and other performances from the Wong People Kung Fu Association.

Be sure to bring something to sit on, this is an outdoor event. Masks are recommended to participate, and social distancing considerations will be made.

No registration required. Sign up to receive cancellation notices in the event of inclement weather. Cancellation decisions will be made at least 1 hour prior to the start time.

The event will be located at the intersection of North Pelham & Holmes Run Park. Street Parking is available but parking at the Beatley Central Library is encouraged. The event is just a short walk across the bridge.

The story walk will remain visible for the community to continue to enjoy after the program!
