If wishes were dishes, Kiln Club clay artists offer pottery and barn as well as a crate and barrel, yet sincerely heartfelt and humanly handmade in an “Embellish & Accessorize” show. Boost the booty under the tree with treasures of sculptural gems to imaginative vases to go-to dishware. At this Santa shopping center, find everything from soup tureens to nut dishes. Be merry with berry bowls and snug with sleighfulls of mugs.

A casting call of creativity results in a flurry of ornament animals, elegant objects and holiday motifs. Embrace imaginative illumination with menorahs, lamps, candle holders and lanterns. Shop centerpieces in pedestal plates, platters and servers.

Treasures under the tree project a vibrant vibe, pairing style with function. Give Mom a gingered teapot for warmth through the Winter. Maybe baby fancies a piggy bank and a sweet flower of a girl would cherish ceramic jewelry. Dad would use a variegated valet tray for change and keys while sculpted angels are stupendous for Step Mama. Artists have fashioned ring holders for Honey, vases for Sweetie and ceramic fruit for Punkin.

The “Embellish and Accessorize” Kiln Club show at Scope Gallery runs December 2-31; hours are Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with late shopping days on Saturday, December 7 open until 8 p.m. and Thursday, December 12 until 9 p.m.; Closed Wednesday, December 25 for Christmas.
