Archaeology After Dark: Cartography of a Port City
Join City of Alexandria Archaeologists Dr. Bejamin Skolnik for a new take on the history of the city as told through fifteen seldom-seen maps. Alexandria history is combined with the history of cartography to show the many ways people, including City Archaeologists, make and use maps. Highlights will include the program’s preservation efforts at the Fort Delaware Civil War prison camp. Advance registration is recommended through shop.alexandriava.gov.
