Alexandria Symphony Sympatico Ensemble Free Concert

Alexandria Symphony Orchestra’s music education program Sympatico will present a free concert in front of City Hall during the Farmer’s Market on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. The concert is provided in partnership with Coldwell Banker (Alexandria office) to raise awareness about this award-winning before- and after-school music program at John Adams Elementary School (ACPS). Participating students will attend a special open house after-party at the Coldwell Banker offices across the street, immediately following their performance.

Three ensembles from Sympatico will perform: Cantamos (chorus), The Mallet Machine (intermediate Orff instruments), and The Percussion Experience (bucket band), led by Program Director Emily Smith. Sympatico will accept charitable contributions at the event.
