Make plans now to attend the final concert of the 2017-18 Alexandria Choral Society (ACS) season, "Songs of Love and War," on Saturday, May 5 at 7:30 p.m.at Convergence (1801 N. Quaker Lane).
This will culminate the first season of Artistic Director Brian J. Isaac, who joined ACS in July 2017.
The program features works by Eric Whitacre (Five Hebrew Love Songs), Jonathan Adams (Pieces Written in a Time of War), Z. Randall Stroope (Dance for Love), Craig Carnahan (Armistice 1918 - Everyone Sang), John Clements (Flower of Beauty), Joseph Flummerfelt (Danny Boy), and many more.
ACS will be joined by the 2018 ACS Sing-Off Grant winners - North Point High School's 'Eagles in Harmony' and Charles J. Colgan High School's 'Chamber Ensemble.'
