A new cafe is opening at 2400 Mt. Vernon Ave.
Del Ray Boccato will serve up homemade gelato, empanadas, pastries and coffee, according to a hand-made sign on the building.
The Boccato sign went up on the building earlier this week, but an opening date is TBD.
There is some debate among linguists about whether the word boccato is Spanish or Italian, but most are in agreement that it loosely translates to "delicious."
