A new boutique is on the cusp of opening in Old Town Alexandria.
Wear Ever Jewelry, an artisan jewelry gallery and studio school, will be opening in the coming weeks at 1112 King Street. The studio school will offer small group classes in jewelry making. The gallery will curate and sell the work of U.S.-based artists creating unique products that are not mass-produced.
“People like to gift handmade jewelry works because they are special and rare, said Wear Every Jewelry owner Jennifer Jordan Park.
Wear Ever Jewelry will also sell pieces online at WearEverJewelry.com.
Park is herself a jewelry maker — she received an MA in Studio Art (jewelry and metals) from New Jersey City University and a BFA in Fine Arts from the University of Tennessee. She has won honors from the Saul Bell Design Awards, Niche Awards, MJSA Vision Awards and more.
