Heart of Del Ray 2018 winners Pork Barrel BBQ/Holy Cow/Sushi Bar
Nominations are open for the 2019 Heart of Del Ray Award. The Heart of Del Ray is presented annually by the Del Ray Business Association to the business that the community feels serves as the heart and soul of Del Ray.
Nominations should be based on which business best demonstrates their warm and welcoming attitude to the community/customers, their commitment and generosity to the community and to their overall contribution to what makes Del Ray "the best place in the world to live, work and shop!" according to DRBA.
To nominate a business, please email Gayle Reuter at gayle.reuter@gmail.com. The deadline is 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22. The Del Ray Business Association Board will then take into consideration all the nominations and comments in order to determine the five finalists.
Please note that a business cannot win more than once. Former winners of the Heart of Del Ray Award are:

- 2015: Mind the Mat Pilates & Yoga
- 2016: Caboose Cafe
- 2017: Del Ray Cafe
- 2018: Pork Barrel BBQ/Holy Cow/Sushi Bar
The five finalists will be announced Feb. 1 and voting will begin at that time, until Feb. 6.
