Belle Haven Shopping Center store GOLFTEC opened a new, temporary location in Alexandria Friday, owner Phil Bowers announced.
GOLFTEC offers golf lessons, golf instruction and custom club fittings at a state-of-the-art training center with certified personal coaches.
GOLFTEC opened in the Belle View Shopping Center in June 2019, and it was one of several businesses damaged in a massive fire at the shopping center in October.
While waiting on insurance payments, repairs and permits to reopen in Belle View, GOLFTEC is operating out of a retail space in the Alexandria Commons Shopping Center on Duke Street (on the upper level two doors down from Panera).
The six-alarm fire in October ripped through the Belle View Shopping Center primarily along the roofline, causing an estimated $5.8 million in total damages to multiple businesses. Most of the affected businesses plan to reopen in the coming months.
GOLFTEC's temporary address is 3209 Duke Street. The hours are 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Friday and Sunday, and 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturdays.
