Custom Ink opens in Alexandria.
Create custom T-shirts at Custom Ink; a new store just opened Monday on King Street in Alexandria.
Custom Ink, a custom apparel and accessories company for groups and communities, announced Tuesday the opening of a stand-alone store at 419 King St. in Old Town Alexandria, where shoppers can get advice and design assistance in creating custom apparel. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
“We are very excited to welcome Custom Ink to the Old Town Alexandria community,” said Stephanie Landrum, president and CEO of the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership.
“While many people think of the company as an ecommerce brand, Custom Ink started right here in Northern Virginia, so a storefront on one of NOVA’s most recognizable main streets makes complete sense," Landrum said. "Custom Ink is the latest ‘clicks to bricks’ company to join us in Old Town, and is a great example of the new shopping experience that our residents and visitors are craving.”
At Custom Ink’s Alexandria location, local customers can meet one-on-one with a knowledgeable Custom Ink representative to create custom apparel or accessories for their group or event, including:
● Discussing design ideas, artwork, and fonts with a Custom Ink team member.
● Comparing product styles for color, sizing, and fit.
● Exploring a curated selection of customizable options, including hats, bags, drinkware, office supplies and tech products.
● Browsing brand names such as Under Armour, The North Face, Nike, adidas, Champion and Comfort Colors.
● Starting a Custom Ink Fundraiser to raise money and awareness for their favorite charity or personal cause through the sale of custom T-shirts.
“Custom Ink is a native of Northern Virginia, and we’re proud of our roots and our growth in the region,” said Bailey Rockwell Adrian, director of Licensing and Partnership Development for Custom Ink.
“Our new Alexandria location will give us the chance to connect with local customers who want expert, in-person advice to help them design custom clothing and accessories," Rockwell Adrian said. "We’re delighted to open our newest store in Alexandria, and we look forward to working with members of the local community to create the perfect custom apparel for their groups and occasions.”
The newest Alexandria store joins Custom Ink’s 11 other locations in Virginia, including: Charlottesville, Fairfax, Fredericksburg, Gainesville, Leesburg, Manassas, Reston, Richmond, Springfield, Sterling, and Woodbridge, as well as other locations in Texas, New Jersey and Nevada.
